Glencoe Studios is an art studio that sits in the heart of a historic textile mill village.
Glencoe Studios is located at Glencoe Mill Village in one of the oldest and most prominent buildings in the mill complex. The machine shop, built in 1880 to store and repair weaving equipment, has been reestablished as a home for local artists working with watercolors, acrylics, fiber, clay, gems and other mediums. The space is designed to promote art in action, and every day friends and colleagues gather to create, learn, and participate in the enjoyment of the arts. Modern amenities have been added without disrupting the historic charm of this fascinating building. Glencoe Studios houses 10 artist work studios along with gallery and classroom space. Visit with and learn about the art of Beverly McAnulty, Anita Vigorito, Joyce Sandoval, Kate Gaydos, Melody Bodkin and Lynn Pownell.
